Karen Simon, President

Karen Simon, has 27 years of public involvement and transportation planning practice. With experience as the Director of Planning and Transportation Programs for the Tampa Downtown Partnership and a Project Planner for Greiner, Inc. (now URS Corporation), she founded SRI in Tampa, Florida in 1996.  Karen expanded her business in 2004 by opening an office in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Karen has worked on a number of transportation planning projects, focusing on public outreach and involvement, including work in Hong Kong, Colorado, Florida, North Carolina and several other states.

Ms. Simon holds a BS in Business Administration from Youngtown State University in Ohio and a MBA from the University of Tampa.

Outside of her professional career, Karen enjoys spending time with her partner and two children, and participating in outdoor activities such as biking, skiing, running and hiking.

Amy Hubbard, Senior Planner

Amy Hubbard has worked in the Winston-Salem, NC office since 2007 advocating the philosophy of SRI.  She is primary figure on the “front” line, working selflessly on public outreach and community involvement.  Amy received her BS in Business Administration and Marketing from High Point University.  She and her family find fulfillment in volunteering for Meals on Wheels supporting the Arts and Dance community in Winston-Salem.  Amy enjoys logging miles during her early morning runs while the rest of Winston-Salem sleeps!

Tami Reina, Senior Planner

Tami Reina brings over 20 years of project and change management experience, and has played key roles in large projects within major financial industries such as Bank of America.  She particularly enjoys projects that involve soliciting public input as the “Voice of the Customer”.   Tami attended Auburn University in Alabama and currently resides in Tampa, Florida.  Away from the office, Tami supports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and enjoys traveling, golfing, outdoor sports/activities, gardening and spending time at the beach.

OLA Marketing

OLA Marketing is a well-established graphic design/multi-media firm in North Carolina. Based in Winston-Salem, OLA has been in business for over 10 years.  OLA creates unique and resourceful marketing, print and web development materials for our projects.
