Philosophy

“I believe that people are genuinely concerned about transportation in their community and want to get involved, but they need to trust that their voices and concerns will be heard and incorporated into the project outcome.
Trust is key in this profession.”

public outreach

“Our work in public involvement centers on educating people to make informed decisions about their transportation needs.  We cater our outreach approach to accommodate that particular community, and talk with them according to their preferred method of contact, not ours!  At the inception of a project, we seek to engage all segments of the population at the inception of a project to cultivate a sense of community ownership and cooperation.  Much of our work is done at a “grass roots” level, developing community trust, participation, information exchange and consensus building.”

“Our philosophy is “to seek rather than be sought” – we engage in proactive public outreach instead of waiting for people to voice their concerns.”
